The Minneapolis/Budapest Connection
Kathleen's brother Barry will be manning the Wish Speaking sound collage this year. He has been in contact with Christopher who originally wrote the sound collage computer program for Promises to the Earth at Wishes for the Sky 2007. The two have been sharing files and collaborating via instant messaging (Barry in Minneapolis and Christopher in Budapest). Barry has been sharing his computer screen remotely with Christopher, and Christopher has been manipulating the sound collage application on Barry's computer from Budapest in order to walk Barry through operating the application for the new Wish Speaking installation.
